OUR SESSIONS
We want to support our families by growing alongside our brilliant crew of children, so along with our popular multi-age topic days we are now running a new 11+ day.
Both days offer plenty of focus time, opportunities to play and socialise, day trips out, adventures and hikes. We have a wonderful team of staff who work hard to nurture, nourish and build bonds with our imaginarium-ites!
MULTI-AGE TOPIC DAYS
MONDAY, TUESDAY, THURSDAY 9AM-4PM
AGE 5-11
Our mixed-age days have a lovely family feel where the older ones learn compassion and responsibility as they look out for the younger ones who in turn learn from and look-up to their older friends.
Every day starts with free time to play and connect. At this point, the children often separate and ‘Mini Imaginarium’ children engage in different morning activities (see below). After a whole group check-in circle and a quick snack, the older children get stuck into their first focus session of the day, which might be an activity connected to our term’s topic, a maths game, a walk or something else! The entire group comes together for lunch then more play time either in the hall or at the park. After lunch it’s quiet reading time then our afternoon focus session which can be accessed by all ages. We all help to tidy up and enjoy some organic snacks before our group check-out and a game to end the day!

11+ FOCUSED DAYS
WEDNESDAY 10AM-2PM
AGE 11-13
Our 11+ days are for children who are keen to learn as part of a slightly older group. Over the course of a year’s learning we aim to cover a broad subject range with our permanent teaching team offering maths, English, science and languages as core subjects and guest tutors bringing expertise in history, geography, music, drama, art and more!
Every day starts with a group catch-up, includes two or three focus sessions and plenty of time for socialising!
These sessions are purposely shorter and have a later start time (based on feedback from our nearly-teens!) which allows for free time to hang-out independently after the sessions if they choose.
